Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Patricia Mitter has more than 6 years of experience in family, children and newborn photography. Currently, she is expanding her business to include wedding, events and corporate photography. She works closely with each of her clients to provide the best package according to their needs. I am a person who loves art in all of its forms. I’m very creative and I see the world in beautiful colors, patterns and shapes. I am a Graphic Designer and through design, I feel free to express my feelings and communicate them to the rest of the world. Four years ago, I decided to take my photography business more seriously. Thanks to my artistic, editorial eye, I am able to capture stunning portraits, all the little details that make your pictures unique, and the organic, candid moments that you want to be able to share with generations to come. I really enjoy every shoot I take, every smile I get and every kind moment I share with my clients.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Yes, I usually have a price for each category, but every client is different so I prefer to set up a price or package according to their needs.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I usually communicate with clients by email. The first step is to know the type of photos they want and the style they are looking for. Once those details have been established, I suggest a location and recommend clothing and decoration. I like to make feel my clients very comfortable and confident before the photo shoot, so I talk to them about everyday things, we walk around so they can meet the place where the photos will be taken. I always ask them if they have something in mind, like a pose or a favorite spot, this way the session can be easy for the client and me. During the session, I show few pictures to the client to see how they are looking and ask them if they want to repeat it or keep going.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, a diploma in Digital Design and certificates in Digital Photography. In addition to my photography business, I am an Art Director for Cornell Lab Publishing Group, a branch of the Cornell Lab of Onithology.
