Stewart and Tactical Survival Training is hands-down the best self defense training Ive ever had. Along with some fitness training, my wife and I received firearms instruction from Stewart that was second-to-none! What really impressed us was that his instruction was so STRONGLY based in REAL-WORLD scenarios. There was absolutely no fluff or showing off, and each piece of instruction had several layers of both mechanical and statistical reasons to back it up. He even sent us home with simple drills we do to improve performance and recall in high-stress situations.
Stewart does not have the ego that you often run into with instructors in this field. He listens, assesses, and gives you his best instruction that is almost always supported by irrefutable evidence. We had no idea how little we knew before taking the classes.
I would recommend Tactical Survival Training to ANYONE, young or old, in any line of work or location. The Tactical Survival website and newsletters offer TONS of real-world training that is keep VERY up-to-date with recent trends in crime, statistics, and science.
I have no doubt that the training you receive with TST would save your life if the situation ever warrants it.

I signed up for a 1 hour class and was recommended by Stewart to take an additional hour and I am very glad I did. If there was a 3rd hour for that day I would have done that as well. This guy is a world of knowledge in all aspects of Tactical Survival Training. Stewart really makes sure you understand what he is training and why. This class was way above and beyond what i expected. Stewart took his time with me and gave exceptional training on the weapon I purchased. I cant say enough about how impressed I was with his knowledge and training this man provided in a two hour window.. I look forward to additional training including the concealed carry class he offers once a month. This was my first weapon and first time shooting. I left feeling very confident about the proper handling of the weapon and respect that comes with it..... Stewart I cant thank you enough on how comfortable you made me feel Saturday. I will defiantly keep in touch for some future training.

The training we received from our instructor, Stewart, was exceptional. Other people I know have taken similar courses at other businesses and described them as boring or a joke. I couldn't have been more impressed with our class. The CCH course was on point and he had a lot of information to share above and beyond what the state requires. His goal is to equip class participants for situations they may encounter and make sure they are prepared to handle those. I appreciate that he catered to everyone will all different levels of experience and is welcoming of questions. Very approachable! While not my hobby, I very much enjoyed this course and highly recommend it to any one considering.
