Charles & his team help us design custom cabinet and shoe closet for us in our garage as well as put up garage shelving. They also designed and installed privacy fencing in our yard that doesn't even look like fencing - it's so pretty . They were very professional and precise. They listened to what we wanted and presented computer generated drafts and made several revisions with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. They came when they said they'd come, and after the work was finished, they left the place clean. Also they were very reasonable for the quality of work. I recommend without reservation, Charles Karpa and his team to do whatever job you need.

My husband and i bought an older 1960's ranch home with an unfinished basement. We knew when we bought it it would need a lot of work but we loved the neighborhood, location and the general layout. WE redid the bathrooms first and used another contractor whom we liked, but felt like we spent more then we needed to for the job we had done, so we thought we should shop around for the next project--which was the kitchen. The kitchen had not been renovated at all, so a lot needed to be done. We had to gut the whole room and start over. We were referred to Charles by another friend who did our custom cabinets. Charles helped us plan out ideas, budget appropriately and kept us in the loop daily with emails and phone calls--we always knew what was happening every week and could plan around it as a result. We felt like we were in the process with him daily but felt like he was looking out for us not just by doing the job but looking out for our budget too. I really felt like we saved money in the long run using him. Having your house torn up for a period of time can make life crazy even under the best of circumstances, but Charles and his crew made it as seamless a process as we had experienced. We ran into some issues with our load bearing walls as we went along, but Charles handled it with minimum disruption -and we appreciated that. I would highly recommend him and his team for any rennovations to your home--big or small. He is a professional--knowledgable, personable and trustworthy--and has a boatload of integrity. And his work is top notch. I'm already planning the next phase of our house and my first phone call will be to Charles and Bluewater. Your home is your largest investment--and you should only trust it and its care to the best.

Charles does outstanding work. He is very careful in everything he does, and he cares about what it will look like when it is done. He installed a new gas cooktop for me, replacing the electric one. This involved running in a new gas line. He also made built-in book shelves and cabinets in the bonus room surrounding a large decorative window. I received a copy of the design drawn out to approve it before the cabinets were built. All the subcontractors were neat and polite. It looks beautiful. I would definitely call Charles again.

We had an addition put on our Dutch Colonial. Though the section was new we wanted it to look like it had always been there. Bluewater took their time to get it right before they even started. They were great about staying in contact and letting us know where we were on the project. They came prepared and were able to handle the curve balls that happen on any older home with an addition. They came in on time and on budget. They came to us highly recommended, now I know why. High marks for quality of workmanship and higher marks for the quality of people they are.
