Introduction: Greetings! I am Ericka and my love for teaching children began years ago while I was studying music in college. I started volunteering at the daycare center at my school and discovered a unwavering passion for working with kids. After graduating and pursuing a singing career I started teaching children how to play piano and learn to sing in-tune. That evolved into a music school where I have had the opportunity to work with children from all ages, backgrounds and learning styles. What I believe makes me unique as a teacher is that I am able to connect with each student individually to determine what motivates and ignites their love and appreciation of music. My goal is to provide each student with a music theory foundation while helping them to create their own personal self-expression.

I can’t say enough good things about Erika and the Aria School of music.! I have 3 children who have had the privilege of working with Erika over the last few years. She has fostered a love of music in my children and helped them grow musically and personally. Since working with the Aria School of Music, my daughter made her school choir and was also selected to participate in all-state choir! Erika is extremely talented, a fabulous teacher and a truly kind person. I highly recommend Erika and the Aria School of Music.

My daughter has been working with Ericka Lee for a few years. Ms Lee does such a great job of keeping her interested in music and learning the piano. My daughter looks forward to seeing her each week, and enjoys the Christmas Recitals each year. Ms Lee is punctual, professional and knowledgable. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are 30-minutes in length and occur weekly. Most of my lessons are booked back~to~back so our lesson begins at the time agreed upon, please be prompt:) Full payment of the lesson is due at time of booking. Cancellation Policy: no-show cancellations forfeit full payment. Cancellations due to emergencies or illness, and made within 24 hours of booking can be rescheduled.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our initial lesson is for me to get to know you, learn about you and what you like musically and otherwise. Then we will jump right in to some learning together!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Music Degree with an emphasis in Performance.
