- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Active military personnel are eligible for a 10% discount. We believe in simple, straightforward pricing. Outdoor sessions at local locations are tailored to your needs. Pricing for families (3-5 members) starts at $200 and increases for larger families/groups/reunions, which are priced on a quote basis. As most families desire custom products, prices are subject to market fluctuations. The studio also offers image files for purchase, (additional charge) which are color-corrected and organized, with quotes provided upon request. For the most cost-effective options, we recommend a consultation with a professional photographer. Studio sessions in Greensboro vary based on theme and complexity. Your first step is to fill out a consultation form. While keeping affordability in mind, please note that professional services incur costs such as insurance, education, and experience. In-Home Studio sessions are priced based on the scope of work. Events and Weddings are also priced by quote. Seasonal packages, discounts for multiple sessions, and "watch me grow" plans are available. Custom packages can be created to meet your specific needs. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With new customers, I do a brief phone introduction and, if possible, set up an in-person consultation. The studio has found consultations to be helpful for setting expectations. Breaking the ice with small children can be helpful whenever time permits. For events and location sessions, timelines are crucial for success. If time isn't available, a phone consult is an alternative. A walk through an event/rehearsal would be helpful and will be done if photographer is available.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I belong to the Professional Photographers Association (PPA) (trade organization). I have a degree in Graphic Design, college courses in photography and I have been mentored by 2 studios for Weddings & Events. The studio in NC since 2010, and previous experience since 1991 Long Island, NY.
