- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I use a forms based pricing system which is typical of the tax preparation industry. The more information you are able to give about your types of income and expenses, the easier it will be for me to give you a reasonably accurate quote. For example, is all of your income wages, or are you self-employed? Do you have investments that generate interest and dividends? Sale of securities? Have you won the lottery? Social security and retirement income? Do you itemize deductions or use the standard deduction?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take advantage of most of the webinars and other training offered by the Internal Revenue Service, as well as taking 15+ hours CPE training through an IRS authorized provider.
