Introduction: Trends come and go. Love and Art are Forever. Creating classically beautiful wedding, portrait, and event photography since 2007. That's the year I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. Since then, I've honed my craft through a three year association with an award winning studio and numerous workshops, classes, and webinars. I also teach beginning photography at a local arts organization, and just this year have initiated an afterschool photography class that will eventually expand to every middle school in Guilford County. I'm based in Greensboro, NC, but have traveled to various locations including Charleston SC, Jacksonville FL, Hilton Head, Bald Head Island, Asheville and the North Carolina mountains, Virginia, and Washington DC. I love going to new places, and am available for worldwide travel. I offer a full-service, boutique photography experience. Whether you are planning a wedding or your yearly family portraits, I am with you from the beginning stages to the moment you hang your portraits on the wall. Vada was terrific. She was very flexible about our location and times. We shot at Carolina's campus on a gorgeous spring day. This was an extended family shoot, meaning we had a large group and several smaller groups. Vada was incredibly sensitive to the children and their shorter attention spans. Her warmth, sense of humour, and obvious experience with children allowed her to get so many shots where every single person was smiling and engaged. I cannot say enough about Vada's work. We are just delighted.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. You don't want to entrust your precious memories to the wrong person. Look for a photographer that you "click" with. You're going to be spending your entire day with this person: it's important that you are comfortable with them. Yes, you want to love the work they have done with other wedding couples, but you also want to love them! I go into every wedding I shoot feeling like I am friends with my couples. Ask for references! A fantastic wedding photographer is going to have happy clients coming out of their ears! I am happy to provide you with the contact information of my past couples, and I know that they will give me glowing reviews. Ask to see an entire wedding. Just about anyone can come up with 20 great images to throw on a website. I prefer to show my prospective couples an entire wedding gallery so that we can all be sure that my style meshes with your vision for your day.
