When our roof began to leak, we knew we needed someone who was established, skilled and trustworthy. We found Chimo and Sons Construction on Angie. During the initial construction of our home, many things could have been done better, such as gutters being improperly placed, the chimney and surroundings not being prepared to prevent leakage, and the type of material used needed to be correctly installed. Contacting Chimo and Sons Construction was the most time-saving, sanity-saving, and, yes, money-saving decision. Eddie came out, listened to our concerns, evaluated our roof, and took many pictures to show us the location and extent of the damage. We were impressed by his knowledge and experience in roofing repair and remodeling. Chimo and Sons were professional. They came when they said they would and were meticulous about everything they did, including the clean-up. We are 100% satisfied with Chimo and Sons' work on our roof, updating our gutter system, and installing a widow’s walk. NO MORE LEAKS! Thank you, Chimo and Sons, for the excellence in craftsmanship and the peace of mind that comes from knowing that our roof and repairs were done correctly. I would confidently recommend Chimo and Sons to my family and friends.

Eddie and his team were excellent. He responded to the inquiry I sent through Thumbtack immediately, and he promptly came out to assess the kitchen remodel. We live in CA and wanted to update our rental home in NC after our tenants unexpectedly moved out early, so we needed to do this job remotely! And quickly so we can get the home back on the market. Not ideal, but Eddie meticulously sent marked-up photos to clarify exactly what we wanted. He gave us an estimate that was very reasonable based on other estimates.
During the process, he found a beautiful quartz countertop for us that was better than anything I had found on my own. He did the whole job in less than a week! And when he found that we had a leak in our kitchen plumbing, he fixed the pipes and replaced the cabinet for a very fair amount. The job he did was exactly what we had agreed upon, and I could not be happier. He's also a very nice young man, and we hope he will do our window replacement too! (Ordering the sliders would take too long for us to move forward with that improvement now.)
HIGHLY recommend!! Trustworthy, prompt, excellent work, and personable. Can't say enough good things about Chimo and Sons and their work.
