FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are very reasonable and they include all the paper work for Spanish and ESL English Lessons. Students learning French should contact me to determine the material fee which is minimal. Students pay for a minimum of 5 hours, and they are encouraged to take their lessons seriously and attend class on a regular basis. Students who purchase the package of 10 hours receive a discount. The numbers of sessions per week will depend on the student.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a student agrees to begin sessions, we would agree on a convenient schedule for both the student/s and myself and begin. After the initial session we can either agree on a set schedule or allow for some flexibility depending on the student/s. I try to make it as flexible for you as possible. I also let you decide how many hours per week you would like to meet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working on my languages skills in the sense of tutoring and teaching others ever since I was in high school. I started learning English when I was nine years old, German at the age of 12 and Spanish at age 17. French is my native language, and I also have an African language (Abbey) that I speak. I love languages and they come naturally to me. I find an important aspect of teaching is keeping the student engaged with hands on activities. I love teaching others and this is easy for me because I truly enjoy what I do. I simply love languages. I have undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
