- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I married a man that owned a boarding kennel and grooming business 13 years ago. I loved keeping the animals warm, safe and dry, in a clean kennel environment. The animals comfort means as much to me as it does to their owners. We moved to Hendersonville 5 years ago, and I have been running a pet sitting business ever since.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common job is walking and feeding dogs and cats that have been left at home while their owners are on vacation.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When selecting a pet sitter, it is important to find a dedicated professional, with experience in companion animal care, including first aid and medication administration. It is important to know that your sitter has experience, and that no matter what, your sitter will treat your pet as if it was her own.
