Maureen has been caring for my Dixie who is handicapped, diabetic, and has special needs. Even though she is mainly there for Dixie she loves my other two the same. Sometimes I think she is secretly in love with Tinkerbell. No matter that she sticks poor Dixie twice a day with a needle Dixie comes lovingly to greet her at every visit and makes great effort to greet her with her crippled toothpick legs. I think any pet would be lucky to have Maureen looking out for them.

Maureen will not only feed your dog, walk him, make sure he's safe but she WILL also spoil and give him LOTS of "love and kisses". She's the absolute best... Kind, caring, trustworthy and super dependable.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is NOT complicated. I charge by the visit. When all is said and done it sometimes turns out to be cheaper than boarding and less stressful for the pet.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a love for animals and when I moved here and had to board my dog because I did not know anyone, I was heartbroken when I picked him up and her had NO bark left in him because he barked so much while he was boarded. His nose was all cut up for rubbing his head on the cage.. I decided not to ever put my dog in kennel again. I know this was my calling. Care for pets in their own home and keep them out of the kennels.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they are insured and bonded. Make sure they are employees and NOT independent contractors ....very important
