Introduction: I provide highly personalized professional service and offer clients the option of being involved in the planning and selection of their music as much or as little as they desire. I will add new material to my repertoire for each client, allowing them to include the latest hits and their own favorite songs and artists in their wedding ceremony, reception, or other event. The price of service includes all planning and consultation - either by phone and email or in person at our home studio in Kill Devil Hills. I also use the highest quality professional audio equipment and lighting when needed and can provide amplification of my performance at any location.
It is particularly special to be able to bring joy to people through my music and add a meaningful and memorable element to some of the most important times in my clients' lives. Watching a father tear up as he dances with his daughter at her wedding while I play his favorite song is a great example of one of these heartwarming moments.

Our retail business, Cara Magnus Celtic, hired Christine Young as part of a duo with guitarist and vocalist Scott Franson to provide weekly music for the summer music series we sponsored in Scarborough Faire Shopping Villages courtyard during the Summer of 2007. Christine is an exceptional violinist and vocalist and the assortment of songs chosen by Christine and Scott appealed to all ages-ranging from bluegrass to acoustic rock- which was great for the families that wander the boardwalks at Scarborough Faire on summer days. We would hire her again for an event-exceptional music and easy to work with!
