FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each client receives a Complimentary Play Date. On this initial visit, the client can witness the pet/pet sitter bond beginning to form. During this time, I'll ask lots of questions and take detailed notes regarding the care of your pet and home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I belong to Pet Sitters International, the leading pet sitting professional organization. PSI educates me on how to care for various species of pets, provides access to valuable services like bonding and insurance, and keeps me up to date on the latest news in the field.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you're looking for someone to care for your pets and your home, choose a professional pet sitter who is bonded, insured and certified in Pet First Aid. Your pet sitter should be able to provide detailed information about their rates and services, in print or online, and should ask you lots of detailed questions about caring for your pet and your home. Don't forget to ask for references!
