We were so pleased with Carlos and Mondragon Concrete at first. He was so patient with our many changes. And Carlos had suggestions that were a big help to us. We had a lot of work done that totaled $12,000. The crew was very personable and worked so hard in the grueling heat. They cleaned up completely after the job. However there were a couple of things that needed to be corrected after everything was done. I contacted them and Carlos told me he would be out on Monday. That Monday never came. When I contacted him again to ask for help, he did not reply to my message. I really liked them and wanted to use them again in the future when we have to redo our driveway, but because of the lack of follow up I will hesitate to do so.

Carlos started our project in December of 2020. He poured a large driveway and new walkways. Some of the driveway is regular concrete and some of the driveway and all of the walkways are stamped and colored. When his brother in law finished the brick stairs, the walkway did not meet the stairs. Horizontally the walkway is about 7 inches short and vertically, it's about 5 inches too low.Mondragon has done nothing to fix this problem. I guess I paid him too much. Now we are stuck with a $30,000 project that we can't use. Carlos has shown no interest in returning. We get vague promises of "next week" for two months. To add to our injury, they got a lot of the stain color on the unstained concrete. Carlos promised to clean it up. Just more broken promises.So, buyer beware. If I had known he would treat anyone this way, I would, obviously, not have done business with him.

My husband and I had a 31' concrete driveway done for our RV. Carlos was amazing. He done a great job. He is very respectable, great communication updates and very reliable. We have had to deal with 3 other contractors this year for other projects and all we got was poor communication and delays.
