Show up on time and go to the right house. She hasn’t been here yet. Wanted to come early first time,rescheduled and went to the wrong house. Not going to use her!!

Positives: TT was polite and down to earth. It was easy to communicate with her. I think she would be best suited for a long term position where she can learn requirements and meet them.
Growth Opportunities:
Timeliness-I needed a same day cleaner. I gave her the option to arrive between 1pm and 5pm. She preferred to come at 5pm. I told her it would require her to stay until approximately 10:30 pm and she agreed. She arrived at 5:25pm. I texted her at 4:55 to let me know when she was here, she said she was in traffic. She did not call to let me know she was running late. She also left at 9:40pm.
Preparedness- TT did not bring enough supplies. She did not bring a mop, just a swiffer. I told her I preferred she use my vacuum which she did, yet she didn’t ask for my mop until I asked her to mop downstairs so the upstairs and bathroom floors were half-assed clean.
Quality of Work:
TT did well with following directives of how to put away toys, laundry, and clothes. She did ok vacuuming.
The bathroom sinks were still dirty and the standup shower was too. She did not wipe behind the in shower towel rack and there was still residue there and on the shower glass. The walls of the shower had been wiped near the handles but the remaining walls were not clean. In the stand alone tub, the basin was clean but the surrounding tile and enclosure were not. In the toilet room, the toilet had been cleaned but there was hair and debris behind the door, and cobwebs behind the plunger. The floor was not cleaned. In the primary bedroom bathroom, she cleaned one of the two countertops. She literally removed the scale from the floor and an empty conditioner bottle and sat them amidst the other junk on the sink and left it. In the other vanity, she did remove trash and wipe it down, there were just toothpaste smears left in that sink and the mirrors were streaked.
I knew the house was a mess and that it needed a lot of work. I tried to give her a pass on some items in the interest of time. I told her not to clean the primary bedroom and just the bathroom. In our phone call, I told her I needed the dishes completed too as apart of the clean. She said she would do them. I actually vacuumed the lower level myself and did all the dishes to speed things up and organized the kitchen while she was taking care of upstairs. When she came down she did the two bathrooms on the first floor and asked if I needed anything else. I was then told she needed to hurry to get home because she had to work in the morning, was tited, and her kids were blowing up her phone. So I said can you at least sweep and mop the floor. That’s when she swept and mopped. She didn’t didn’t do the living room, just the kitchen and part of the hallway. Once the floor dried, I could see there were still crumbs and on the floor, there was spilled smoothie that wasn’t fully cleaned. She also did not touch the kitchen at all. No counters cleaned, no appliances wiped, nothingggg.
Lessons Learned: I now know to check behind cleaners in a detailed way as they go, and if someone is late to just say forget it. I have never had to do this with other cleaners. I also have had people come later in the day and they’ve stayed until they’re finished.
Value: I paid this woman $225 to come clean my house. It’s a big house and it was dirty and messy. She stayed 4.2 hours. The quality of work was not worth the price.
I will say, she was kind to my children and I. I do believe she is trustworthy. More oversight and more professionalism is needed.
Overall: would I hire her again? Maybe if I had time to offer training and set more clear standards. As it stands, no. I need to leverage the responsibilities to a more seasoned and skilled service professional. Do I recommend TT? Yes, it would just need to be a good fit.
