Art of Stone sent me a quote for a bathroomremodel and for all of the work and at the bottom it had a total of 12,000, not sure why the quote has all zeros per item there's no rate (you don't know how they got to the 12k because they did not itemize it). The quote I got from them in 2024 for the same bathroom was around $6,500 for the same bathroom. The prices have doubled since 2024. I do not plan on using them for my bathroomremodel, but the sales guy was professional.

April, we appreciate the opportunity to work with you, however looking over the two estimates it looks like the scope of work has major changes (material & labor) mainly from a plastic surround To a tile & grout shower with a niche. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually start off by scheduling a walk through and scanning your project for a 3d model and provide us with the specs of the remodeling project.
Either a description of a design or a 3D rendering if issued prior to finalizing the selection.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With many different specialty trades covered and involved in many different trades and complex projects for almost 2 decades of experience. Certified by Schluter and Wedi and licensed by NASCLA for general contracting.
