Employees need to have the proper equipment to perform their job effectively. We had different workers day-to-day throughout the project. Many of them did not have the appropriate tools to perform their duties or damage protective equipment for the property. There was damage to the walls and floors that protective equipment could have prevented or minimized. I had cleaning equipment and tools in my cabinets that the workers helped themselves to with no permission and some tools that were “borrowed” without permission even turned up missing. I had travertine (a natural stone) installed that needed to be sealed. It was done poorly. The tile was not properly cleaned before sealing, trapping the dust under the sealant, excess sealant was not wiped off during application creating permanent bubbles and streaks.
