I hired Bill Whicker to complete two separate tasks: (1) build custom cabinets in my laundry room, such that they would have doors to keep out dust, and trim to blend with the areas adjacent, and (2) design & build a set of pull-out bins or drawers in my pantry, to provide access to the area beneath existing shelves. Results: (1) He did a great job! The cabinets look great, complete with crown moulding and hanger rods to accomodate empty and full hangers as you wash, dry and hang up in the laundry process. The area is dressed up now and really sets off the room. (2) The pull-outs are terrific...we can now store more, and we can get to it without having to "unload" the pantry floor every time you want something from the back. He is prompt; he met his quote exactly; he is open to customer critique and ideas as he designs the solution; he cleans up after himself; he communicates; he does quality work. He's a young man; but, he clearly has more experience than his years suggest. I plan to use him again. Thanks "Thumbtack" for putting us in touch with each other.

Bill was very easy to work with. He was quick to respond to messages, and finished the job the day after he gave us a quote. He replaced some woodwork that was warped by a leaky window and now it looks like nothing ever happened. I was very happy with the quality of his work and thought it was reasonably priced.
