Introduction: We start every workout program with an in depth fitness assessment. In the fitness assessment we use the Functional Movement Systems (FMS) kit to conduct a movement analysis and we take some baseline stats including height, weight, body fat % and blood pressure. We'll also discuss your goals and past exercise and medical history in the fitness assessment. This not only lets us know where we are starting out from, but it also gives us the ability to design a workout program completely individualized to your needs. My passion for personal training comes from seeing clients achieve their fitness goals. Accomplishing any fitness goal requires a high level of dedication, commitment, and hard work. When you're pushed to the limits you truly find out what you're made of, and seeing you reach those levels and beyond is what motivates me to go to work every day.

Joel is an extremely knowledgeable and talented trainer. This guy seriously knows what he is doing, which is a big deal for people like me that do not have time and money to waste on a template workout program at a gym. He is very obviously very experienced and has the education to back up what he is doing. I contacted Joel to interview him after reviewing the company web site and we extremely impressed with the no pressure, partnership feel immediately. As a fat Information Technology guy, I have never been athletic in my life and do not expect to be contacted for the NFL draft anytime soon, but at 46, I am not about to lounge my way into obesity like most of the men in my industry and community. On a flight to Dallas, I realized that the tray table was resting on my guy. This was a lifestyle change for me and I decided to commit. Joel helped me do just that and I am never slowing down again. I am in phase two of a 6 month program and the results are remarkable. For the first time in many years, I feel strong again and have increased my endurance dramatically. Joel keeps it serious and fun at the same time. He is a very cool, respectful, and business minded person, and meets you exactly where you are. He wasted no time working to correct years of bad gym efforts and increased my flexibility in order to get the exercises right. There is nothing worse than doing exercises the wrong way. I found that out quickly into the program. Joel also offers nutrition consulting, which I found to be far more enlightening and appropriate for me apart from other experiences with nutritionists. I know what I can cook and Joel’s team helped me identified a reasonable diet that doesn’t require a trip to an esoteric whole foods store miles from my house. Also, his team helped me decide which diet decisions to make while I am on the road. Restaurants like fat guys like me and much of the food is like bait on a hook. All of the information that we discussed makes sense and now I know what to do within the bounds of my busy schedule. In less than 6 weeks, I have lost enough fat weight and gained muscle to see a significant difference. However, the real difference is with the confidence and the motivation to keep on track. With the concierge model, I can continue to keep my busy schedule without trips to a gym where the training help is not even close to the level of quality that Joel brings. I can’t wait to write a follow-up to this endorsement in another few months because I am convinced that results are going to be amazing. Final thought; I found that my mental state was 90% of the problem.     When you invest in personal training you are investing in yourself and it truly is a lifestyle change. I don't know anyone who has reached their fitness goals without a lot of hard work. Be ready and make the mental commitment to not let anything get in your way before we start. Anything worthwhile is worth fighting for.
