We are not from the area where we were married and didn't have a clue about DJ vendors. We called and "interviewed" about four different DJs in the area. Mt. Top Entertainment, Tom, had our vote hands down. We felt at ease speaking with Tom from the get go. Tom was our MC & DJ for our 3/21/15 wedding held at The Lodge On Lake Lure, NC. We had other musicians play for our ceremony and mingling hour so Tom had to coordinate with them for certain cues to interject our introduction and first dance. He made all the transitions seamless. He was very professional in appearance and worked wonders with all of our other vendors. He went above and beyond and assisted with moving things along to help us stay on our planned timeline and assisted the staff at the lodge with this as well. This allowed us and a select few guests that we had set up to assist a much more stress free evening. He created an "icebreaker" that had everyone up on the dance floor first thing in the evening which set the tone for the rest of the night. Everyone had a great time and we heard from several of our guests how impressed they were with his selections, his openness to requests and professionalism. He is a very professional DJ, extremely helpful to us as a resource guide for other vendors and all around nice guy! Our other vendors also recognized his quality and asked us about him and his information. We would use him again 10 times over!

Where to even begin! From the moment I started speaking with Tom on the phone I knew he was going to be such an amazing DJ for our wedding. He was always available to talk and would spend as much time as I needed on the phone with him. He happily answered all of my questions and helped me greatly when it came to planning the music entertainment. His willingness to help before the wedding translated straight into the wedding itself! He got nearly every one of our wedding guests up and dancing, including the grandmothers! He is great with keeping the crowd entertained both during the songs and between songs and came up with lots of clever (and hilarious) ways to get people on the dance floor. Seriously could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding, he truly made the reception!!! Thanks to Tom, we will have so many fun memories from the reception that we will keep with us forever.

Tom did an amazing job at our wedding. It downpoured so we had to move everything inside and he was able to make adjustments to fit our needs during the ceremony. We originally were going to have a friend play the guitar during our ceremony but he backed out last minute and tom really stepped up to help keep everything together! The music was fun and all of our guests were always up dancing and had a blast!!

We could not have been more pleased with Tom and the joy and laughter he provided our guests. He played all the songs we requested and liked, and he had a great sense of what to play next to keep everyone engaging and dancing. It was over too way to quick. Plus the added photo booth was an awesome idea. We highly recommend Tom for any wedding, party or other special occasion.
