FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am comparably priced to others in the harp field with similar talent and experience, but I save my clients hundreds of dollars and the hassle of dealing with multiple musician vendors since I offer vocals, guitar and piano as well, not to mention that I can put together a trio or quartet from my network of other fabulous musicians upon request so the clients don't have to jump through those hoops themselves.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a short questionnaire that I have the customer fill out that gives me a better idea of their vision for the event, as well as gives me all the information I will need to give a complete quote up front. Then I get to read about their desired ambiance and put together a playlist accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional musician for 18 years, starting to play for restaurants and weddings in middle school and high school, and have owned my own business from that time on. I took private lessons growing up, music classes in college, and have an ongoing education as I involve myself in the American Harp Society, Scottish Harp Society of America (through which I have received 6 awards), and all the weddings and events of which I get to be a part!
