Dear Angele:
It was my pleasure working with you these past weeks. I feel that we accomplished a lot in helping our business move forward.
What I am happy with are the following accomplishments:
• We now have an estimating tool that gives us 100% confidence in bidding, knowing all our costs.
• We have scheduled and implemented weekly staff and crew meetings to keep in the loop and create accountability.
• We have created a sales and marketing plan – something that never existed, and has been stagnant over the last few years.
• We are working on a cash management system that will give us a better insight on a weekly basis, as to where the business stands.
There were many more things that we learned such as budgeting, sales forecast,...but due to the seasonal aspect of our business, we could not devote 100% time to this consulting project. A dormant time of the year for us is December-January.
