We reached out for an estimate and was told the estimate was no cost and how this company would handle things ! Immediately after the interaction we begin receiving multiple bills , to include phone calls demanding payment. Then we get a invoice for the estimate! We are all for companies being compensated but these contractors are out to get paid without doing a thing and misleading leads! Thumbtack used to be credible but is full of scammers and people looking to scheme!

We can’t help thumbtack didn’t inform you on an estimate fee!! The estimate fee covers our time and expenses, we pay for our leads and do professional work! You received an estimate bill and an estimate for the job cost! Not two bills, we are sorry for the inconvenience or misunderstanding on thumbtacks behalf but we don’t charge customers estimate fees if they allow us to provide the work requested only if you don’t choose our company to do the job is when you will have to pay!
