What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I feel communication is key in order to be successful. I would ask the customer what type of energy/feel they wanted for their event. I would get an idea of the customer’s playlist (by genre and artist preferences).
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I should’ve been a Dj years ago because I am such a music head. I decided on becoming one while quarantining during COVID; entrepreneurship is most important to me and they say if you do what you love the business end will take care of itself.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I got the chance to Dj my grandmother’s 100 birthday party last summer. Not only was I able to accommodate the four generations with diverse music, I was able to customize my set with pre-recorded birthday shoutouts.
