FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education is a REQUIREMENT to remain licensed in the field. I recently participated in an awesome deep tissue techniques class as well as treating low back pain synergistically working through abdominal and pelvic muscles. Amazing classes!!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Majority of my clientele are professionals that spend significant amounts of time in an office setting. With that said I spend quite a bit of time working with them to relieve neck, back, shoulder, and hip flexor discomfort through guided stretching and muscle tissue manipulation.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you've chosen massage therapy as a part of you're routine health regimen take the initiative to think through or write out all of the benefits you are looking to receive from your treatment and relate it openly and confidently to your therapist. Otherwise it just becomes a guessing game of what you do or don't like in a session. Sincere therapists are always willing to accommodate your specific requests within reason and scope of practice.
