FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are standard prices for standard projects. Once the project site is observed MLP can give a specific, detailed quote. These details can depend on many variables such as the square footage, current condition (regarding building codes and regulations) of the project site as well as cost and quality of the materials that the consumer wishes to use. As with any service any changes that the customer makes during the project or, as mentioned before, any unforeseen circumstances may change the price of any project. This all will be disclosed during the process of construction and the customer has the option to cease construction if desired. Payment of any unpaid balance for work completed will be required at the end of an agreement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new customer is getting to know the customer and also the customer getting to know MLP and the standards we have set for our company. Specifics about the job that we can get at the initial contact (email, text, phone call) are important and very helpful in providing a preliminary quote. The next step is meeting the customer and viewing the project that is planned, as well as, what the customer has in mind for the finished product. Once the customer has approved the work and price, a deposit will be required for construction to begin. During the construction process it is the main purpose for MLP to keep the customer informed on the progress of the project including any unforeseen obstacles, which can happen but, are avoided if at all possible. Any and all unforeseen obstacles will be discussed and planned along side of the customer. MLP will give the customer as much information as possible to make a decision in pushing the process along. Once construction is completed a final walk-through will be done and final payment on the project will be expected.
