When hiring an Electrical Contractor, you should always make sure that they have a valid license from the State Board. The company should be properly insured as well. Another important issue is to not hire someone solely based on the estimate for a project. Some companies will give a low estimate, but a much larger bill. A good Electrician will have competitive rates, not low rates, and good references with many of their customers being repeat business.
