FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Like a lot of photographers, it began as a hobby taking pictures of my own family. I fell in love with photography and wanted to learn as much as I could and over time it just started to fall into place. I decided to start working with it professionally in 2007 and wouldn't change a thing.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Family portraits are my specialty as well as child and senior portrait work. Beach portraits are always popular and I work with vacationing families quite frequently.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If there is one thing I would want anyone deciding on a photographer for portraits or an event to know it would be the importance of consistency in their work. Do they have a solid understanding of photography. Are images being post processed as they should be. Or is a shot in the dark where they sometimes 'get it right'. You should always closely evaluate a photographer portfolio before hiring them. If you see under and over exposed images (too dark or too light) or portraits that are just not done well you should keep looking. Keep in mind that what you are seeing is the photographer BEST work. A good portfolio should be well thought out and show a variety of a photographers best work.
