- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Actually I am currently in the process of getting my general contractors license. In the state of North Carolina a license and insurance is only required with the type of work that I do if the job is over $30,000. I am working to achieve personal and career goals by obtaining my GC license and W/C insurance.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I really took an interest during high school in my carpentry and agriculture classes. I loved working with my hands I love creating things and building things and my love continues to grow over the years. I have had a lot of great teachers over the years and I have worked for some great guys, without these people who have taught and influenced me, I wouldnt be where I am today.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common job I do is interior and exterior painting. I also install kitchen and bathroom cabinets countertops trim and molding. I do a lot of pressure washing, especially during spring. And I also get a lot of jobs doing custom carpentry work.
