FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At WattStar Electric, we price each project up front — not by the hour — so you’ll know the total cost before any work begins. Our quotes are transparent and all-inclusive, covering labor, materials, and permits when required. There are never hidden fees or surprise charges. We may also offer discounts for bundled services and larger projects.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Wattstar Electric, we make the process smooth and straightforward from start to finish: 1. Initial Contact – We begin by listening to your needs and collecting key project details. 2. Schedule On-Site Assessment – We arrange a convenient time to visit your property, evaluate the work, and provide a clear, upfront guaranteed proposal. 3. Perform Work or Schedule for Another Day – Depending on the project, we may complete the work during the same visit or schedule a follow-up appointment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a North Carolina Unlimited Licensed Electrical Contractor, qualified to handle residential, commercial, and industrial projects of any size. However, residential electrical work is our specialty. I’ve completed all state-required electrical coursework and maintain ongoing training to stay current with NEC code updates and safety standards. My expertise covers everything from electrical troubleshooting and repairs to service installations, panel upgrades, surge protection systems and EV charger installations.
