My wife and I requested at bid from Mr. Argabright to construct a plan we had already purchased. He gave us a great quote. To our pleasant surprise, he showed us another house plan that we liked even more. Plus, he built it for us within our budget! We love the unique details he incorporated into our home that gave it the charm we were looking for.
Mr. Argabright communicated well with us throughout the construction process. He was patient with our requests and gave great attention to the details. Our home was built right from start to finish. We have perfectly level floors and flat straight walls. We were so pleased we had him return to build our detached garage. He included the same solid construction and curb appeal so the workshop would complement the appearance of our home.

Jay has done many jobs for me over the years. From fixing sheds, to replacing to porch steps and adding rails to my existing front porch. Inside my home he changed a computer room into a bedroom by sealing an existing doorway. He also expanded my hall closet so i could turn it into a media closet. He then replaced carpet in my dining room with wood flooring that blended perfectly into the existing hard woods in the foyer. Very personable and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is pleased with the work being done. Always willing to answer questions and work with me to make sure all aspects of the job was covered. The pricing was fair and the work was done in a punctual manner.

Jay's excellent work when he was at our house working with another contractor prompted us to call him for two other home improvements we wanted done. When he was here the first time he assisted in laying new wood floors, widening doors and painting. The second and third time Jay came was to lay wood floor in other rooms. Jay always communicated with us about his availability to complete the work. His attention to detail was great, nothing was too much trouble. He is our contractor of choice and we will definitely be calling him for any future home improvements we plan to make.

I live in China Grove, NC and Jay built me a screen porch addition onto my house. I didn't have an existing deck, so he had to construct that also. He did a great job tying it onto my existing roof where it looks like it was built with the house. I now spend more time on the porch than in my house!
Jay's work was great and done in a timely manner. He was also very friendly and easy to work with.

I have had Jay do several different jobs for me.
He has helped me with converting my carpeted stairs to hardwood;
interior trim work; and exterior siding work.
He is thorough,honest,reliable, and reasonably priced. I would
recommend him highly.
