Unfortunately my rental property had an HVAC uit where the blower stopped working. I called out one company to check on the issue and their recommendation was to install a new unit because replacing a blower would cost over $1500. My units were 21 years old anyway, so I thought perhaps its time to replace both of them.
I decided to get multiple quotes thankfully. Some companies will try to take advantage of your situation and quote you higher. Lyndon Heating and Air sent out Nelson who was friendly, honest and upfront. Their quote was fair and they scheduled the installation of both units within 2 days. The crew got all the work done within 5 hours. Nelson also stayed in touch to answer all my questions and make sure I was satisfied.
I definitely recommend you atleast giving Lyndon a chance to give you a quote even if you are in a pinch. I am surely glad I did.
