- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most project pricing is generated specific to that project. Pricing is based on projected man-hours required and quantity/cost of materials needed. Certain services already have standard pricing (door installs, dishwasher installs, etc). These are exceptions to the general rule.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the project, I generally spend an hour or so talking over what the customer wants, making suggestions as needed. We then put together a detailed Scope-of-Work and pricing to complete the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10+ years experience (8 as a licensed contractor) handling paid jobs ranging from small handyman type projects to large extended rehabs and remodels. We have significant experience in all phases of residential construction.
