Introduction: Two things that distinguish me in the DJ space are my love of diverse music styles (which helps me to build in variety), and my experience as a musician (which has helped me to develop an 'ear'). Jay (DJ Tempetst) made my work as Executive Director for our outdoor free music concerts a breeze - he knew what I needed and what the crowd wanted. Season after season, he was invited back to the show pleasing thousands of fans.

Jay is an amazing DJ. He worked his magic at a party I had years ago, near Chicago and got everybody on the dance floor. I have listened to his mixes and have a few of them. I recently pulled one out for a party and several friends asked what I was playing because they liked it so much. He knows music, and has a talent for setting just the right tone and atmosphere with his mixes and music choices.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Erin (see my reviews) speaks about an event that I particularly enjoyed, Dane Dances which takes place in Madison, WI. I DJ'd two dates there in the summer of 2011 and had a great time playing to and interacting with a fun and diverse crowd.
