FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$1 per minute plus $5 per session. Services requiring special training or tools, such as myofacial release, deep tissue or hot/cold stones, typically add $15 per session. Sessions with specialty products and facials, such as extreme instant facelift sets, are priced according. I work by appointment only and my introductory rate of $65.00 per hour includes a detailed intake process. I feel that this an affordable opportunity so that you can personally experience the therapeutic effects of warm stones on your body and mind, and then decide for yourself if you wish to become a monthly client with a recurring $45 per hour rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There is an intake form to be completed, and we talk about your expectations for pain relief, any muscular issues you have concerns about, and post-massage recommendations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, and I have a licensed establishment in LaVista. Nebraska law requires 1000 hours of education and a passing score on a comprehensive standardized board exam to obtain a license; see ncbtmb dot org for more information. State Renewals require a certain number of Continuing Education hours, and about half are considered "hands on", meaning we can't just do some reading and take an online certification test. We are educated, ethical professionals who care about you, your health, and your well-being.
