FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I am constantly learning from other professionals in the field, some who have shot celebrity weddings or they have been nationally published in magazines around the country. It is a constant learning process, to always push yourself to become better. I also love reinvesting into my business and I'm always looking to get "fancier" equipment that will achieve the results I'm looking for. I enjoy educating myself in lighting, posing and other various techniques to further advance my business to the next level. I'm a big believer in constantly staying up on industry trends and knowledge you have to in order to become one of the best in the business.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved photography, I guess it was the "dream" for me to just go for it and say, no fear. I've learned that sometimes you have to take that "risk" of what you really want in life, even though it may feel a little scary and completely exciting it's totally worth it in the end. Kinda like marriage! =)
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My specialty is couples, engagements, weddings, bridals and what is called the "Day After" which is a session after the wedding (usually when the couple comes back from their honeymoon). This is where the bride gets to put her wedding dress (one last time) and the groom wears something nice and we go out on location for some beautiful "golden hour" portraits. Sometimes due to time/schedule on the wedding day, we may not get as many beautiful before sunset shots, so this is an easier way to make it happen.
