These guys were great! We had a severe mold situation in our summer house from sitting water due to flooding in December that we werent aware of. Greg, the owner, responded quickly to our voicemail. He came onsite the next day, assessed the situation and promptly provided a reasonable quote. I live out of state but my cousin who lives close by had a key to let them in. The crew that came took photos of all the damage and sent them to me. We had extensive mold concentrated throughout the basement ceiling and moisture was literally dripping off the basement light fixtures. They came in with multiple dehumidifiers which took about a week to dry out due to the amount of moisture in the wood and concrete. Once that was under control, They treated and removed the thick mold found along the entire ceiling . Cody , who is basically running our job did a fantastic job communicating with phone calls and photographs. I couldnt believe they got all of that mold off of the floor joists above throughout the entire basement. I also asked them to remove worthless items covered in mold which they discarded, of which was insurmountable! They sent pictures of items that were down there, and I pointed and basically told them which to keep and what to get rid of. There was other work that we had discussed, quoted and paid for ahead of time to reduce the moisture / humidity in the air from coming in from the concrete going forward, but after work was complete, Greg had assessed that there was a major drainage problem and it was futile to perform the other work until it was fixed so he politely said he would credit us that money back for now. See before and after photos. All in all, great communication, fair price , great work and they were honest! Would definitely use them again!

It was May 1st, and our family had just closed on our first home. With our second born on the way, we were so excited to get settled into our new home. Fast forward to June 9th - while we were away from the house all day, unbeknownst to us, a line broke under our kitchen sink and flooded our home, causing tons of damage to our finished basement and kitchen. It was a nightmare. It was also 11 pm, and we thought for sure everyone who might be able to help us would be asleep.My father-in-law called New England Water Remediation, and Greg was at our house within the hour. We were blown away not only by his response time but also by his knowledge and guidance while we were in severe panic mode. Greg assessed the damage before he left that night and left some high-powered fans behind to help dry up some of the standing water.In the meantime, we had to move out of the house we just bought with a newborn on the way. Greg and his team got straight to work. The following week after we moved out, Greg's team began gutting the basement and moving all of our belongings into a storage POD placed on our driveway. The team was incredibly efficient. During the demo, they also discovered some old asbestos tiling in the bathroom and promptly had it removed. Greg eventually connected us with Dan, our project manager, who we could not have been more pleased with. My father-in-law has high standards for handiwork and Dan time and time again surpassed his expectations and my own.Now, I'll keep it real here and say that there were certainly times when some aspects of the work were sub-par or unacceptable, but it wouldn't even be fair to mention those experiences because Greg, Dan, and their team, in EVERY instance, made sure to make the work right until we were truly happy. This is rare! And this makes me want to recommend them to others and use them again should we ever need to. We heard horror stories of contractors who would either never finish the work, take your money and run, or get argumentative when you expressed any dissatisfaction with the work being done. But this was never, ever the case with New England Water Remediation. From the flood remediation to the rebuild, Greg and Dan were always there to listen to our needs and make sure that we were truly happy with their work for us. We never had any reason to doubt them because they truly cared about our satisfaction.Also, it needs to be mentioned that they were able to get us BACK into our house by mid-October. All in all, we were displaced for only four months, which is an incredible feat. We couldn't be happier to recommend New England Water Remediation to anyone who has found themselves in a crappy situation. Call them and see for yourself just how superb Greg and his team are.*Also, check out the custom banister they built for us. When we moved in, this was an old-school steel banister. My wife pitched some ideas to Dan for what she hoped a new banister could look like and they knocked it out of the park. We are also stoked with the backsplash they installed in our kitchen. Excellent work all around.
