FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common tasks are inspecting and remediating basements and attic areas. Many Clients require air quality testing to determine the cause of their asthma, COPD, or other environmentally caused breathing issues including flu like symptoms and repetitive cold like symptoms. If no current water intrusion is occurring, a relatively cheap Fungicide Fogging will provide immediate and long lasting relief from the mold spores causing the health aliments.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your home work, make sure they are a Nationally Certified Mold Remediation Professional actually doing the Inspecting, Testing, and/or Remediation. NAMP Certified is the best. Check out the business status with Better Business Bureau. Ask who else will be doing the work and what their actual qualifications are. Most large companies may have one expert but he doesn't perform or supervise the actual work. Unqualified grunts do the real work and are usually poorly or completely untrained. Company saves lots of money, you get ripped off or possibly robbed, and your home gets trashed in the process.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The Mold Business requires an in depth serious science and construction background to do the job correctly. Most so called professionals don't have a clue about the biology, physics, chemistry and engineering involved and thus canât possibly inspect and remediate mold properly.
