Ryan has worked on several projects for me over the last year or so. I'm always extremely pleased with his work, and I always look forward to collaborating with him. He has designed corporate logos for me-- completed an extensive series of extremely difficult technical illustrations, and worked on a lot of data presentation. Its hard to find someone like Ryan, who can basically do anything I ask of him. He always brings a fresh, inspired approach to his work. He's creative, but technically very precise. He also a joy to work with. He's happy to make revisions, and though sometimes my instructions are a little vague, he never has complained. He always works hard and turns work around VERY quickly. He has never come close to missing a deadline. He's always turning in work early. I have mostly used him for his expertise in Illustrator and Photoshop, but based on his work so far, I will always consider him for After Effects work and animation as well. Ryan put together a website for my construction company, prepped only with a brief description of the type of work we do, some logos (that he created two years prior) and some preliminary thoughts on what the pages should include. He hit it out of the park design-wise and included everything we were looking for. Our website looks fresh, clean and sharp...JUST the image we want our prospects to see of us before they pull the trigger and become our clients. Ryan's an out-of-the-box thinker when it comes to web design and just an all-around cool guy to work alongside of. Got a chance to use Kohler Design on a like project? Yes. In this field it is paramount to continue to learn and adapt to the changes in design trends as well as technical skills.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise the customer to look for someone who seems truly knowledgable and passionate about what they do. There is a wide gap in talent in this field, so choosing a professional is something not to be taken lightly.
