When requesting a Preliminary Proposal on a broad scope of work and subsequently receiving one. After the scope gets defined and finalized. You should request an Assumptions, Qualifications and Exclusions page within the Final Proposal document. This assures you and your contractor of choice have a full understanding of the scope to be performed for the contracted amount.
