They seemed friendly and knowledgeable, but they kept putting my start date off. Some of it was due to a family emergency that wasn’t resolved after 4 weeks. I think they just do handyman work on weekends and work full-time jobs during the week which could account for some of the delays. I finally had to contact another handyman on Thumbtack, but they have been putting me off, as well.

I hired Charlie about two weeks ago. I am trying to sell my property and just couldn’t find the right contractor that was willing to come in and get the job done in a timely manner. We need to put our home on the market by the end of November and it has been guaranteed that it will be ready. He does excellent work and is a perfectionist at heart. Our home was built in 1902. The front porch is an original with large pane windows. We thought that we would have to tear it down. Charlie and his brother-in-law came in and restored entire porch. He has kept the charm and integrity of the porch. It was intricate work to do and like a jigsaw puzzle. He had to build it back up and he did it in such a short period of time. He was willing to come nights and weekends and go that extra mile. My porch looks beautiful. Better than before. I feel so fortunate to have met him and his team. My house will look beautiful when it’s completely finished and ready for the market. If I were doing this again I would hire him all over again. I already have other people in mind that could really use Charlie’s assistance and they are on board. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Charlie!
