Hager Investment Management Services, LLC is not a broker and receives no commissions based on transactions executed on behalf of clients. The firm charges an investment advisory fee of three-quarters of one percent of assets under management per year. This fee is billed on a quarterly basis in arrears. Clients also incur commission charges on portfolio transactions, the amount of which varies depending on the broker/custodian employed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Hager Investment Management Services, LLC may recommend that clients establish brokerage accounts with the Schwab Advisor Services division of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. (Schwab), a FINRA registered broker-dealer, member SIPC, to maintain custody of clients’ assets and to effect trades for their accounts. Although Hager Investment Management Services, LLC may recommend that clients establish accounts at Charles Schwab, it is the client’s decision to custody assets with Schwab. Hager Investment Management Services, LLC is independently owned and operated and not affiliated with Schwab. Schwab provides Hager Investment Management Services, LLC with access to its institutional trading and custody services, which are typically not available to Schwab retail investors. These services generally are available to independent investment advisors on an unsolicited basis, at no charge to them.
