Tom was wonderful! I met him briefly when he arrived at my wedding early and of course I had a billion things going on. He was very courteous and kind, complementing the venue. After that I didn't physically see him until the reception, but in looking at the lovely photos he took, boy was he busy! The plan was to take photos right before the reception during appetizers, but Tom knew that then sun would be too much of an issue. He was very flexible in helping us get the best photos possible for our special day, and Great Island Photography absolutely delivered! Our families loved the photos and caught so many lovely memories that no one else had captured. We will treasure these forever. Thank you so much, Tom and Lindsay!

We invested in Lindsay and Tom for our wedding at the beginning of August and it was one of the best decisions we made for the day. We had a very small (30 people) wedding in a rural part of Massachusetts. Tom and Lindsay met with us 2 weeks before the day to get a better sense of us as a couple. They arrived early on what proved to be a brutally hot day, but they caught the most amazing pictures from formal, to posed, to casual. Even little moments of joy and laughter that, though we don't need a photo to remember, makes the day feel even more special. They were very professional with considerable attention to detail. They also sent us a link to a gallery on their website within 2 weeks of the event! My husband and I were very impressed with their work and ability to make us relax and enjoy every moment.

Great Island made our wedding a huge success! It was a pleasure working with this husband and wife team. As we were choosing photographers, Lindsay and Tom were very responsive and patient with our myriad of questions. Their attentiveness continued throughout the whole process. The pre-wedding consultation was a huge help. Great Island was so knowledgeable and able to offer recommendations on all things -- rainy-day plan b's, staging, set-up, -- even pizza recommendations! On the day of the wedding, Lindsay and Tom were seamless additions to the wedding. They offered excellent stage direction, made everyone feel comfortable, and were present for all the major events. Friends and family appreciated their patience, kindness, and professionalism. The processing was very quick and professional, and even the package in which the USB came had wonderful little touches. We were thrilled with how the photos came out. Great Island captured the best moments and facial expressions, and created photos that encapsulated the emotion and happiness of the day. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We prefer to quote each request individually. Once we have a conversation with a client concerning their needs we can usually reduce the fee. This is particularly true with wedding quotes, couples tend to over estimate the number of hours required. With out a conversation we have to utilize a shotgun approach to set a fee.
