- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My resume prices fluctuate depending on client expertise level and prospective needs. Cover letters are typically flat rate. I also offer job search advice, interview follow up letters, and business documents, though each of these would require an individual quote as no two jobs are ever the same.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you want to begin I will send you a short questionnaire. This helps me customize your resume to showcase your unique qualifications. Once I receive the filled out form, I can get writing. Typically, you will receive your final resume within three business days.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BFA in Creative Writing and an MA in Writing I worked in publishing and editing for several years. During this time I wrote three books, numerous articles, edited manuscripts and articles for magazines. I was also a college English instructor, where I taught English composition and technical writing, with a focus on business writing and resumes. Next, I moved into resume writing and earned my CPRW certification, and became a member of both the National Resume Writers Association and the Professional Association of Resume Writers. Through both these organizations, I continually update my skills with new training courses.
