Kristin and Peter were punctual, professional and their artistic eye compares to no other. My engagement pictures were beautiful. In fact, I used one of the prints for my wedding invitation. Peter and Kristin are a talented duo, you will not be dissapointed!

Working with Kristin and Pete was an absolute pleasure, their character and integrity evident in their personal interaction as well as in their finished products. They took our wedding photos and did an incredible job! They were very timely, efficient, and so well organized, above and beyond in challenging weather conditions to capture stunning outdoor photos of our special day. I am so pleased with the results and will definitely use them to capture more special moments in the future!

This lovely couple took some wonderful pictures of our jumbo-sized family of 29 (including 15 children!) They handled the crowd with ease and made the time together memorable for our family. As if that wasn't enough, we got the added bonus of having these memories captured on amazing photos to cherish forever! Thanks Pete and Kristin!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Peter and Kristin Pelletier (Simpell Photo & Design). They captured our wedding day perfectly; all the energy and love from that day is seen in every photo. They were also so helpful, and flexible to our needs. They took our suggestions and what we wanted and went above and beyond...10 times what I expected! We are very pleased and will be having them do many other future family moments!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We do lifestyle photography - which entails capturing an important moment in the life/lives of the subjects. Including weddings, family shoots, graduates, pregnancy, infant and pet portraits. We also do commercial (services, staff & product) photography. We offer design for print materials: trifolds, postcards, business cards, and writing & editing.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We were recently selected to photograph a "styled shoot" ( a fake wedding) for Lakes Region Bride magazine at an old mill. It was amazing to work with so many other talented professionals -- hair, makeup, flowers, design, modeling. It was a beautiful scene and we had the "golden" opportunity to capture it on film (er, digital memory card).

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Remember that there is always a business component. Being "featured" professionals is essentially paid advertising. Reviews are helpful, but the may reflect more the networking abilities than the artist's skill. Be certain to find someone who loves what they do and wants to please the customer. Being versatile and listening to the client's goals is key.
