I have had many great teachers in my life that have shaped who I am as a musician. This has shown me that I too have a passion for sharing knowledge, experience and my love of music with others. I have been teaching guitar for more than a decade - from beginners picking up the instrument for the first time to professionals looking to hone in their music theory knowledge. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Guitar Performance. I teach individuals online and in person as well as in group settings.
Other than teaching, I have a passion for performance. Having said that, I believe having a firm grasp of the instrument is essential to being able to play proficiently.
My goal in teaching is to take a away the industry standard of "one size fits all" guitar lessons. I do not use one standard curriculum because I feel, having gone through this myself, that it creates a tense mood when it comes to lessons. Music/Guitar is supposed to be above all else, enjoyable to do/play.
I create detailed lesson plans based on each student's individual needs and create a fun environment for each student to grow as a musician.
As our lessons evolve the curriculum will evolve with us. So whether is Blues, Indie Rock, Folk, Pop, Funk or Classic Rock...you will have the tools you need to thrive.

Sebastian is a phenomenal guitar player and teacher. He was able to quickly figure exactly where I'm at in terms of guitar playing and music theory knowledge. And then begin filling in the blanks to get me out of the guitar playing plateau I have been in for probably a decade. No matter your skill level, I'm sure doing lessons with Sebastian will be a benefit to your playing and music IQ.

Lessons with Sebastian are great. The teaching environment he creates is comfortable and engaging. I've never left empty handed and am always looking forward to the next one. Plus, his scheduling is flexible and accommodating.
