She is currently completing a makeup certification program, which touches on makeup techniques, theater makeup, and special effects makeup. She has also been trained by Laura Mercier Cosmetics. She loves to play with colors, and can create any look from natural to dramatic fashion looks. Kristine Stone has an immense love and passion for makeup. She has been in the industry for many years. Her technique with color is amazing, and she has a talent for creating looks tailored to your specific wants and needs. She has also been trained by Laura Mercier, and has an extensive skin care background, being trained by Clinique. At Aurora Makeup Artistry we pride ourselves in professionalism and attention to detail, and we are always staying up to date on all the current makeup and fashion trends. We believe that we stand apart by our use of quality products, such as MAC, Laura Mercier, Clinque, Dior, Urban Decay, and other well-known products. We will always listen to our clients' wants and needs to create a look that you will not only be happy with, but will also make you feel as beautiful as you are. We provide makeup applications for all special events, i.e. weddings, bridal parties, special occasions, proms, photo shoots, and any other event you will be attending. Makeup lessons are offered in the comfort of your own home. We also provide cosmetics personal shopping. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We both are currently enrolled in makeup classes to keep up on techniques and new trends. We also keep jobs in the industry as well with various lines again to stay on top of new trends, and to constantly learn new tecniques.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our most common jobs are Wedding makeup applications for brides, and bridal parties, as well as in home makeup lessons.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice we can give is to do your research. Look at each artists work, and have an idea of what look you want for your big day. Also set up as many trials as you need to, you want to know the artists skills before your big day!
