Introduction: Adorn provides a full range of interior design services for residential interior design (houses, condos, and apartments) and commercial interior design (restaurants, cafes, elegant offices, and boutique stores) specializing in kitchens and baths.
Generally, interior design services fall into three categories:
Category 1: design project -- invoiced per project
Design project normally includes the following services:
1. Creating interior concept (including stylistic and color decisions)
2. Planning the space
3. Planning the lighting scheme
4. Selecting furniture, lighting, and accessories
5. Designing new furniture and other interior items, and redecorating the old ones
6. Designing window treatment
7. Selecting finishing materials
8. Project budgeting
9. Preparing all technical documentation for the project (including floor plans, electrical layouts, plumbing layouts, ceramic tile layouts, wall layouts, etc.)
10. Preparing the list of furnishings, fabrics, lighting, interior accessories, wall coverings, floor coverings, interior doors, and finishing materials for the project (with indicated prices and stores where they can be purchased)
11. Project visualization (three-dimensional drawings and sample boards representing sample materials, color schemes, and furnishings; three-dimensional drawings together with a sample board to show how the room will look like when it is ready)
In some cases, the design project may include not all of the services listed above, but just a few of them. The amount of services that may be needed to be performed will determine the final price of the project.
Category 2: overseeing the project -- invoiced hourly
Overseeing the project is the next step after the design project has been accomplished and accepted by the client.
On this step, an interior designer may help you with the following:
* Supervising the works of contractors involved in the project realization
* Buying furnishings, fabrics, lighting, interior accessories, wall coverings, floor coverings, interior doors, and finishing materials
Category 3: consultation -- invoiced hourly
Consultation is a separate service that can be provided to anyone who has interior-related questions and would like to get professional answers to them.
