They were very nice and get back to me very quickly! I'm definitely going back for more lessons!!Aug 5, 2017Verified
So far Bob is a great teacher. He was easy to talk to and enhanced my enthusiasm to play guitar. I've only had one lesson so it's a bit too early to tell, but the whole process from start to finish and the friendliness of the staff is superb.Sep 20, 2016Verified
I have gone through several teachers trying to learn jazz piano. I think that I have now found the teacher that I need. Mark Weisman is fantastic. No matter where I am, he always knows how to take me to the next level.Aug 11, 2016Verified
Mark was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He really works hard to ensure a good match between teacher and student. The instructors at his studio are extremely talented.Mar 12, 2015Verified
Piano Workshop of Chester, NJ was very responsive and was able to provide the flexibility that I need. Mr. Weisman is extremely professional and clearly cares about his clients. The instructor they sent is wonderful and my daughter and she had a fabulous rapport from the first lesson. I would definitely recommend The Piano Workshop.Mar 10, 2014Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It all begins with a conversation about their (or their children's) prior experience if any, specific goals and what they are looking for. We then look at scheduling and availability and try to match with the best suited teacher.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a member of Music Educators Association of NJ. Additionally the value added of having 14 teachers, half of whom have advanced degrees, is that we always are sharing information, tips, strategies, teaching ideas and staying on top of the latest teaching methodologies and repertoire.
- What types of customers have you worked with?We have given private lessons to students as young as 4 and a half, although our recommended age is 5 and a half to 6 and a half. We work with teens who are trying to prepare for college auditions and we work with adults who never had time to learn when they were younger, or did play but are rusty and want to put some time in so they can enjoy playing again.
