I found Eco Design on Thumbtack last year summer because I was working on a full rehab project and I needed to get several contractor estimates. I was most impressed with the professionalism of the contractor,his punctuality and also the fact that he provided a reasonable price for the extensive work that needed to be done. I also reviewed his previous jobs and was impressed with the quality of work. The contractor was also able to provide suggestions on how we could save money. I would definitely recommend this company!!!!

Eco Design built a retaining wall around half of our in-ground pool. Excellent communications before work commenced; we knew exactly what to expect and how much everything would cost. Steve is very responsive in answering any questions. We are beyond pleased with the work he did - the project was completed in ONE DAY and the work is flawless. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend his work.

Steve and his crew did quite a bit for me. The job was done at my home. My house sits on a two acre lot. His crew began by “cleaning & pruning up” all the trees on my entire lot as well as the removal of a several trees. They then brought in about 10 yards of top soil on an area that had washed away exposing tree roots. On top of that his crew brought in & laid about 3 pallets of sod. In addition, Steve & his crew also raised, leveled and re-laid two blue slate walkways in front and behind my house. All work was completed in the timeline Steve estimated. Steve’s price for the work was not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. I can say I agreed to a price I think was very fair, and I believe more than reasonable for all the work that was done. The work was done in a timely, professional manner with Steve making sure it was to my & my wife’s satisfaction. I will definitely use Steve and Eco Design Technology again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No. It is impossible to put a square footage, per fixture, per job pricing on anything. So many factors go into a project including quality, quantity, logistics, maintenance, site-visits, design, etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is essential to have a few discovery meetings to determine and fully understand the goals of my client with a clear strategy to successfully implement that plan. This not only includes design but also budgets, time lines, foreseeable hurdles, etc. My primary job is to transport my client through the project in a comfortable manner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a business degree from Boston College, many certifications in construction disciplines along with over 25 yrs of practical knowledge in design/build, management of large projects and working with some of the top architects, engineers, construction firms along the East Coast.
